For most setups, yes. Wire mesh decking gives you a safe, load-rated surface across the beams so cartons, totes, and odd-sized or damaged pallets won't fall through. It lets fire-sprinkler water flow better than solid decking, lets light through, doesn't collect debris, and drops in without hardware.
