Two posts braced by horizontal struts and diagonals, anchored to the floor. The punched columns let you set beam heights anywhere and carry the full vertical load.

Load Beams

Horizontal step beams that clip or bolt into the uprights and carry the pallets. Beam length and gauge are sized to your pallet width and weight.

What is selective pallet rack?

Selective pallet rack is the most common type of warehouse storage: upright frames and horizontal load beams that give a forklift direct access to every pallet position. It comes in roll-formed (teardrop) and structural bolted styles, and it's the best all-around choice for mixed SKUs because you can reach any pallet without moving another. Should I get roll-formed or structural rack?

Roll-formed (teardrop) rack uses punched uprights and beams that clip together. It goes up fast, reconfigures easily, and costs less for typical loads. Structural rack is hot-rolled C-channel bolted together, so it takes a hit better and holds up in cold storage, drive-in, and rough environments. We stock both and will steer you to the right one for your loads and aisles.

How much weight can selective pallet rack hold?

That depends on the beam size, upright, and configuration. Typical selective rack beams carry roughly 4,000 to 6,000+ lbs per level, and the upright itself has to be rated for the total load stacked above it.
